I have been adopted into a loving home ! |
Scooby,
called Pico in foster care, will join Paws. He fills the very big shoes of Bones, who
went to the Rainbow Bridge after suffering a femur break due to
Osteosarcoma. Scooby will enjoy the
carefree life that his Dad enjoys and may be in the mountains, or at the
beach or romping in the desert .

Bronson,
formerly Peridot, has taken up residence in Ladera
Ranch. He came from Oklahoma in April;
got California acclimated in Perris and has charmed Lauren Shorey and family
into living that real life of luxury.
He will be so spoiled before much longer and will be a GREYT
Greyhound ambassador as Mom likes Greyhound activities. Welcome aboard!!! |

Sean O’Connor of Chino Hills. Sean
has been looking for just the right Greyhound for years. Lily fit the bill perfectly and is now
being super spoiled, but forever loved. |

adopted, by Rosemary Maucere of Loma Linda.
They join Rosemary’s 2 cats in the fun home and great back
yard. Both will accompany Rosemary
to work and enjoy their forever home. |

Incubus,
now Kramer has decided
to stay with his foster Mom, Martha Boughen, in her San Juan Capistrano home. He is filling th ehuge hole left in the
family by the too soon passing of Edie, the 9 year old Mastif. He got the new name of Kramer because he
does the Kramer, of the Seinfeld show, slide and peek around the corner
look. |

now Willow have moved to Newport Beach to live in
the home of Maggie Smith an John Salladay.
She fills the shoes of the family’s 2 Greyhounds that went to the
Rainbow Bridge last year. |

Yvette just fell in love with those eyes and Arizona just loves his

generation Phillips Family in their Irvine home. The children have wanted a dog for a long
time and Gracie is their belated Christmas gift. The family will have fun with this
beautiful and playful girl. Many

Lord
Byron, has moved into
the Lake Forest home with Linda Leitinger and her Greyhound Seamus and son
Steven. When the family Doby, Bella,
passed suddenly, Seamus needed a new buddy and Lord Byron fills the bill
very nicely. He enjoys the twice
daily walk and keeps Seamus company while Mom works and Steven is at
school. |

Kelly,
has joined the Almost Home Greyhound Ranch home pack of Neo, Static,
Tiffany and Duke, all reporting to Sharyn and Roger Deeringer. This 65 pound, 6 year old girl came to
SoCalGAL with a very badly wonded leg.
She has some Whippet in her blood, but that will not be held against
her. Kelly just fits the pack and
would not do too well anywhere else.
She will now call the Phelan property home for the rest of her years |

Gnome
has been adopted by Kathy Bates and kay
Hagen of Lakewood. Gnome will share
the house with the family Rotty/Shepard mix. Toys are abundant and both dogs share the
playtime. Much love in this house
and all will be living happily ever after. |

Tide,
a happy 85 pound boy is now entertaining John and Angelica Stanford in
their San Clemente home. He is
keeping his new Mom company and training the family in Greyhound home
keeping. Tide is a very nice walker,
the family enjoys their daily strolls with their new partner. |

Max, has been adopted by Bert & Judy Lilly of Seal Beach. Max will keep Terry, the families current
Greyhound, company and will enjoy the good life. Bert is a long time member of Hemopet’s
Spoiler’s club and worked with Max while Max was in the kennel, so Bert was
well aware of Max’s needs. That
tucked tail will not last long. Max
will enjoy the good life and relax into true retirement. |

Bid, now filled out to 85 pounds, has been adopted to Lynn Christopher and Jeroen Voogd and living in Temecula. Bid is very happy in this wonderful home and enjoys the afternoon Starbuck stroll, the doggie park romps and 3 new Greyhound friends in the neighborhood. He finding his niche and introducing their new parents to the wonderful world of Greyhounds. Happy times for many years in Temecula. |

Happy, charmed her way into the hearts of her foster family and will join Hemopet’s/SoCalGAL’s Reni, Velvet and Wahini, along with the Chocolate Lab, Cheyenne. That pack will keep Doris and Roxane well occupied and busy. |

George, now known
as Cash, has found his ideal home in Santa Ana. His new home has two cats and a lady that
understands Greyhounds as her first hound lived to be 14. Cash simply walked into his new house and
never looked back. The cats checked
him out and went to sleep. Cash
found a soft spot in the sun and copied the cats. |

Dimple has found a
forever home in Victorville. She has
moved in with Shawn & Frank Laney.
Dimple took about 5 minutes to find a soft spot of the living room
carpet and did her Greyhound snooze thing.
She will be part of the pit crew when the family goes racing. First reports has her applying for the
co-pilots job. |

Ranger, has found his forever
home in Victorville with Thomas Denny and family. He will be learning to deal with the high
desert environment as he teaches his new family all about Greyhounds. He found his way to the king-size bed and
the family was elated. Happy times
will be had by all. |

forever home in Irvine with Angela Jurkovich. Koa, Angela’s 6 year old Visla enjoys the
new family addition and Carmen just enjoys her new home. |

Twinkle convinced Ann
Winters that a Greyhound should join her pack in a lovely home in Lake
Arrowhead. A Jack Russell and a
mini-collie have been keeping Ann company for many years and Twinkle just
moved right in and took her place on the couch. Ann couldn’t be happier. |

Dingo, has found forever love with Laura Young of Norwalk. Laura recently lost her male Greyhound and her female was becoming despondent. Dingo fills the hole in everyone’s heart. It only took a few days and it was like he lived there his entire life. |
