Secretly has finally found her forever home in
Huntington Beach. Stephanie and family
has decided that Secretly will be the perfect partner in educating the
children about animal responsibility.
The girls just love the fact that Secretly plays with teh stuffy toys
without the stuffing being spread about.
And everyone enjoys watching the little black ball player chase the
tennis balls. Best wishes for
everyone.

Michelin
has joined Annie (SCG Oakley 305HH) in the home of Kathy
Bradley of Laguna Woods. The 3 small
dogs, that rule the house, are already providing Michelin all the play time
he needs, while Annie watches the activity.
Michelin is Kathy’s 10th Greyhound, so Hats off to The
wonderful lady of Laguna Woods and her pack.

Joy has joined Mr.
Boo (Bottel SCG 324HH) in the happy home of Kerene and Kirk Larson in Laguna Hills. She will be sharing Mr. Boo’s wading pools
and watching the family cat

Jackpot was adopted July 20 into the home of
Greg and Jill Nogle in Mission Viejo. He joins Hana (SCG 316HH) to provide her someone to
boss around while entertaining the family.

Ebenezer
has joined the pack of Mike and Judy Bushnell in Spring Valley. Mike had fostered Ebby and when Ebby was
returned, Mike said “Bring him home”
So home he is.

Tina started the
rest of her life in her new forever home in Whittier with Answer. Her main job will be keeping Answer under
control and enjoying the loving heaped upon her by the van den Vlekkert
family.

Answer is a very happy
boy. He has a new home in Whittier,
with his new best buddy, Tina. The two
of them will introduce the van den Vlekkert to the wonderful world of
Greyhounds and entertain them as well.
Answer arrived in the new home with 2 big bags of toys, going home
gifts from his foster Mom, and is already throwing them about the back yard.

Bottel (pronounced boo-del) is now a resident of
Laguna
Hills,
in the home of Kerene and Kerk Larson and is now known as Mr. Boo. He will keep Spree(SCG/Hemopet 148H) and the family cat company
and provide many happy days for his new family. Mr. Boo has settled in nicely and enjoys
his daily walks.

Carmen has been
adopted by Marvin Platt, of Hacienda
Heights. She just loves her new back yard and the
wonderful shade trees next to the pool.
She had her first swim and has decided that water is for drinking, not
swimming. Carmen will be teaching
Marvin all about the wonderful world of Greyhounds and influencing the
neighbors that Greyhounds are Greyt pets.

Aka Island
Breezes

Gigi couldn’t
leave her Foster Mom, Pat Hagler, who lives in Phelan. GiGi joins SCG’s Chandra and Pat’s other Greys. She has a big job to do by filling the
shoes of Beauty, who went to the Rainbow Bridge quite suddenly and much too early.

Grizzly, has found his place in this world with
Linda Bellacicco and Bob O’Brien in their Lake Forest home.
He will keep Bonnie, a 10 year old Shepherd mix, company while he
learns how to live in the real world.

Sol Kemp has finally found his forever home in San Juan Capistrano with the family of Andy and Kate
Shull. Kemp will be assisting new
foster dogs with their introduction to the big, wonderful world.

Polo,
who is a 6 year old White
and Fawn boy, has been adopted into the Irvine home of Jane Olin and Tim
Jerkovich. He will be filling the paw
prints of the much loved DOW,
who is waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.
It did not take Polo long to blend into the family life. He will be helping the children to
understand the responsibility of Greyt pet ownership.

“Lucky Girl Tova”

TOVA is a beautiful,
a very sweet and loving 5-year old red girl.
Tova decided she would make herself comfortable in he forever home
with Gary and Marilyn Beavers in Laguna Woods. Tova was the first hound to be adopted
under SoCalGAL’s new Foster to Adopt program.
In this first test case, a huge success has been had by all.

TIKO is a sweet,
smart, little 5-year old brindle boy, who has just been adopted by Nicole
Bentivegna and John Ruggiero of Irvine.
He will be sharing the house with the family cat and will be enjoying
his daily walks and very nice back yard.
Loves will abound as “Ty” discovers the wonders of his forever home.
