Southern California Greyhound Adoption Legion was established for the primary purpose of assisting in the placement of ex-racing greyhounds by fostering Hemopet long-term kennel residents and owner returned greyhound companions. When a foster home is open and no appropriate Hemopet greyhound is available, a greyhound may be transferred from another greyhound rescue group. |

|
Our available
greyhounds are housed in volunteer foster homes with other greyhounds. While in
foster care, the ex-racing greyhounds learn how to live in a home. Foster
homes provide valuable information about personality traits, including how a
foster greyhound reacts with children, small dogs, and cats. To preview the -5-
greyhounds available for adoption, go to
the Available
Fosters page. Our adoption donation is $275.00. If
you are considering adoption, please complete the Application on the Adoption
Application page. One of our volunteers will contact you to
discuss available foster greyhounds and the adoption process. Come see us at one of the Local Events , sponsored by CalGAP. Follow SoCalGAL Greyhound Adoption on Face Book!!!!! |
